Bowen East District
World Day of Prayer 2026
The Bowen East District invites you to join us for the 2026 Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer!
Under this year’s theme, “Living the Good News: Faith in Action,” we will unite in prayer, fellowship, and service, with a special emphasis on supporting women and children in Africa.
The program begins at 5:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM CT. Attendees are encouraged to wear African attire, and each church is asked to contribute a $25 donation to support women and children globally.
We look forward to coming together in faith, unity, and prayer!

Highlighting Our 156th Annual Session & 120th Women’s Convention
We give God thanks for a spirit-filled session! The Bowen East District Baptist Association gathered September 23 - 24, 2026, under the theme “Changing the Course, Not Our Conviction,” rooted in Isaiah 43:18-19 and Romans 12:1-2.
It was a meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and renewed commitment to the work God has called us to do. The celebration continued on September 26 with our Fellowship Banquet at
Mt. Hermon Family Life Center.
Thank you to our pastors, delegates, member churches, program participants, and guests for helping make these gatherings a success. We extend special appreciation to our host church, Friendship Baptist Church of Valley, Alabama, and Pastor Rev. L. C. Thomas.
